The canal excavation works at Blue Cay Estate, the 16 home gated community in Leeward on Providenciales, are nearing completion. After two-and-a-half months of excavation works, which have brought the 870ft long and 85ft wide Blue Cay canal to its full extent, all lots now feature water in front of them.
Ivor Stanbrook, director of Windward Development Company, emphasizes the excitement of the whole team with reaching this new milestone: “Leeward is an ideal Caribbean location for watersports enthusiasts of all kinds: paddle boarders, kayakers, fishermen, wakeboarders, kiteboarders and boaters in general. Blue Cay – with its Blue Cay canal, a dedicated boat dock per home and the direct access to the untouched waters and cays of the north and south shores – has been conceived as a watersports community. We are delighted with the progress of the canal works and the unique view points this additional body of water has created for all lots in the community.”
Six of the twelve canalfront homes are now under construction featuring varying degrees of completion with the first ones scheduled to be finished in May 2017. Further homes will commence their build phase in January 2017.
With 10 of the 16 homes sold in year 1 and a further reservation, Blue Cay is promising to near sell-out this high season.
